Meet Our Director
My name is Taylor Varnum and I have been working in the Education System in the state of Florida since 2015. I attended the University of South Florida and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Literary Studies – as well as obtaining my License to teach Secondary Education. I started working at Ladybird Academy in 2019 after leaving the public school system as a secondary educator in Hillsborough County. This transition followed shortly after I had my son and chose to enroll him – here – at this very Ladybird Academy. As an educator, I have taken a vow to provide not only the best educational experience to students, but also to offer guidance of both heart and morality. With dedication and willfulness to meet these higher standards, I have fortified my foundation of practices and policies within the classroom, building upon the bricks of: education, acceptance, patience, and unfaltering love. I look forward to welcoming you to the family we have here at Ladybird Academy of Fishhawk.
