Meet Our Director
Greetings!! …… It is a pleasure to be the Center Director at Ladybird Academy of Avalon Park. My name is Kathleen Gaborko. Having over 32 years of early childcare development experience, I have worked in corporate, non-profit and private franchise centers having had the privilege of opening four new schools. I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in education and child development; a master’s degree from Tulane University in Management as well as a Child Development Associate (CDA) and hold a Director’s Credential with a VPK endorsement. Stimulating young minds in a safe, healthy, and happy environment produces lifetime learners. Building a solid foundation socially and emotionally along with healthy physical activity stimulates positive learning experiences, builds confidence, and enables children to learn to work together respectfully in a fun environment. We are excited to have you as part of the Ladybird Academy family and I will always make myself available for the success of the children while meeting the expectations of the parents.
