Staff Requirements

Teachers are background screened prior to working at one of our centers. Beyond that, we carefully select only the best available staff that are able to uphold our high standards. We pride ourselves on achieving a Gold Seal accreditation which means our teacher's qualifications far exceed the minimal requirements of most centers.
Director

- Must be at least 21 years old
- 45 State mandated training hours (required by DCF)

An undergraduate degree in one of the following:
Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Nursing, Or other child-related field.
*The Director position requires at least 3 years experience as a teacher serving the children of the age group in care, and at least 2 years experience as a Director.
Assistant Director

- Must be at least 21 years old
- 45 State mandated training hours (required by DCF)
- CDA qualification or equivalent
*The Assistant Director position requires at least 3 years experience as a teacher and 6 months experience in a supervisory position
Teacher

- Must be at least 21 years old
- 45 State mandated training hours (required by DCF)
- CDA qualification or equivalent
*The Teacher position requires at least 1 year experience working with children under 5 years old
Teachers Assistant

- Must be at least 18 years old
- 45 State mandated training hours (required by DCF)
*The Assistant position requires at least 6 months experience working with children under 5 years old
Chef

- Must be at least 21 years old
- Be a certified ServSafe manager or equivalent
*The Chef position requires at least 2 years experience in a cook/chef position
